Do you just ever feel like there is an incredible amount of contradictory diet + exercise advice?

And it's just so overwhelming?

There is so much contradictory and confusing diet + exercise advice out there. It can make you just about go cray cray!

I've definitely experimented with all sort of popular "diets" out there and different types of exercise. Partly to gain some experience, tips, and tricks to help my audience + clients for my business. But also because sometimes I'm still finding what is best for me in the different seasons of my life.

I've been trying for so long to sum up the best diet + exercise advice that I can give.

Advice that is simple, stress-free, and most importantly empowering.

The best diet for you must meet these 5 criteria:

  1. You’re going to stick to it. Consistency is key.
  2. You get excited about it.
  3. It doesn’t make you stressed or crazy.
  4. It makes you feel good. (Oh so good!)
  5. It must be whole foods based (as in, whole, unprocessed foods that are from the Earth).

The best exercise regimen for you must meet these 5 criteria:

  1. You’re going to stick to it. 
  2. You get excited about it. (Like smile big!)
  3. It doesn’t make you stressed or crazy.
  4. It makes you feel good.
  5. It's total body + movement focused. (Mmmm, yes!)

Yup, both of those are pretty similar but equally true :)

The only time you should add extra criteria or change it a little is when you have a health concern, disease, illness, disorder, etc. but know that when that’s done right, it’s most likely temporary.

So there you have it, if you follow this criterion for your diet + exercise then you’re sure to see a difference in your life.
